ViewQuantum Digital — legal notice

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ViewQuantum Digital handles personal data collected through this website. It covers what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and how to contact us about it. The site is an editorial resource and does not sell products or services.

Scope of this notice

This page covers the public website only. It does not describe how any separate studio or supplier runs its own business.

ViewQuantum Digital publishes a neutral guide to how website and mobile app projects are scoped, built and maintained. Because the guide is written for readers rather than customers, we keep the data we handle small and predictable: what you send us through the contact form, and the routine technical records that any website produces while it serves pages.

If you only read the guide, there is nothing you need to do and nothing to opt out of. If you write to us, the notes below tell you exactly what happens to that message, who can see it, how long it stays, and how to ask for a copy, a correction or a deletion.

The short version, in plain words: we read your message, we reply, and we do not sell anything to anyone from this address list.

Data we collect

We collect the information you provide when you use the contact form, which includes your email address and the content of your message. We also collect basic technical data generated by your visit, such as the pages you view, through standard server logs.

We do not collect payment details, and we do not ask for information we do not need to respond to you.

Not collected at any point

  • Card or bank details — there is no checkout on this site
  • Passwords or account credentials — there is no account to create
  • Location tracking beyond the ordinary network address in a server log

Why we collect it

Contact form data is used to read and respond to your message, and to verify and act on corrections. Technical data is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages readers find useful.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How the data moves

Your message travels from the form to an inbox and stops there. It is not passed to the studios named in the guide, and no reader of this site is added to a mailing list.

That single rule decides most of what follows in this policy. Sharing, retention and deletion are all built around it: one inbox, one reply, and no second copy kept for marketing.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and to measure aggregate traffic. Details of the cookies used, and how to control them, are set out in our cookie policy.

Traffic measurement is read as totals, not as individual profiles. If you block cookies in your browser, the guide still reads normally; a few convenience behaviours may reset between visits.

Sharing

We do not share personal data with development studios or other third parties for marketing. Data may be processed by service providers that host the site or handle email, strictly to operate the site.

Where required by law, we may disclose information in response to a valid legal request.

Hosting and email providers act on our instructions and are used only to keep the site online and to send replies.

Server records are kept short and small. They exist so the guide loads and so we can see which pages are read.

Retention

Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and to maintain a record of corrections. Technical logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.

In practice this means a message usually disappears once the thread is closed and any correction it produced is settled. Logs are the shortest-lived item on the list and are the first thing we remove.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. Send your request through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Include the email address you wrote from, and enough detail for us to find the message. If we cannot identify the request, we may ask one short clarifying question before acting.

Ready to make a request, or to ask a question about this policy? The contact page is the single route in.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your data, can be sent through the contact page. Please include enough detail for us to identify your request.

Common questions

Do I need an account to read this guide?

No. Every page is open, and no account, sign-up or payment step exists on the site. You can read the whole guide without sending us anything.

What happens to a message I send?

It arrives in one inbox, is read by the person who maintains the guide, and is answered if a reply is needed. It is not forwarded to studios for marketing and it is not added to a mailing list.

Can I ask you to delete my message?

Yes. Write through the contact page and ask for deletion, quoting the address you wrote from. We remove the message and confirm once it is done, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep a record.

Does blocking cookies break the site?

The pages still load and every article stays readable. You may lose small conveniences between visits, such as a remembered preference, and we simply record fewer traffic totals.
