Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using the ViewQuantum Digital website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

How to read this page

Eight short sections. Each one answers a single question about using this website.

  • What the site is, and what it is not
  • What you may copy or quote
  • How accurate the studio notes are
  • Where responsibility sits

About these terms

This page is the agreement between you and ViewQuantum Digital for the use of this website. It covers reading the guide, quoting from it, following the links we publish, and the limits of what we can tell you about any development studio we describe.

Nothing here is written to catch you out. The wording is kept plain because the site is a reading resource rather than a service you buy. Where a term limits something, we say so directly in the section that covers it.

Related documents sit alongside this one. The privacy policy explains what happens to personal data when you write to us, and the cookie policy explains the small files the site uses while you browse. If you only want the short version of this page, read the sections on content use, accuracy, and liability.

The terms, section by section

Each row below is one section of the agreement. The notes in the right-hand column tell you what the section does in practice.

About this site

ViewQuantum Digital is an editorial resource providing information about website and mobile app development, and comparisons of development studios. It does not offer development services and does not act as an agent for any studio. We do not take a commission from studios named in the guide, and we do not pass enquiries on to them on your behalf.

Use of content

Content on this site is provided for general information. You may read, link to, and quote short extracts with attribution. Republishing substantial parts of the content requires our permission. Attribution means naming ViewQuantum Digital and linking to the page you took the extract from. Translating an article in full, or reposting it on another site, counts as republication and needs written permission first.

Accuracy

We aim to keep information accurate and current, including details about studios drawn from public sources. Development coverage changes, and we cannot warrant that every detail is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. Studio pages, service lists and platform offerings shift through the year, so treat every comparison as a starting point and confirm the details you care about directly with the studio before you commit.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site constitutes professional, legal, or financial advice. Decisions about hiring a studio or commissioning a project are yours. We describe trade-offs; we do not recommend a specific provider. For contract wording, tax treatment or intellectual-property questions, speak to a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction rather than relying on this guide.

Your decision, your call

Third-party links

The site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Links are included because they were useful when we wrote the page, not as an endorsement of everything a site publishes. If a link no longer leads anywhere useful, you are welcome to tell us through the contact page so we can review it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ViewQuantum Digital is not liable for losses arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. That covers decisions taken on the basis of a studio comparison, a cost explanation or a technical note, and it covers interruptions to the site itself. Nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under the law that applies where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version applies whenever you use the site. When a change affects how content may be reused, or how a complaint is handled, we update the revision date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the version then in force.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page. Messages are read during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If your question is about a correction to a studio description, include the page you were reading and the detail you believe is wrong, and we will look at it.

That is the whole editorial position, and it is what makes the comparisons worth reading. Every studio entry is written from public information and is open to correction through the contact page.

On this page

The studio names and platform notes you read elsewhere in the guide come from public sources. These terms do not change that sourcing; they set the limits on how the material may be used and how much weight it can carry.

Quoting the guide, and asking for more

If you write about development studios, you are welcome to quote a sentence or two from a page here, as long as the quote is accurate and the page is named. A short extract with a link back to the original is fine without asking first. What is not fine is copying an entire article, republishing a comparison table as your own, or feeding the text into a paid product without permission.

For anything larger, write to us through the contact page and describe what you want to reuse and where it will appear. Requests are handled during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If we agree, we will confirm the scope in writing so there is no ambiguity later about what was granted.

Corrections work the same way. If a studio description is out of date, or a platform note no longer reflects what the tool does, tell us the page and the detail. We review corrections rather than promising an immediate edit, because each change is checked against a public source before it goes in.

What you can do without asking

  • Read and link to any page in the guide
  • Quote a short extract with attribution and a link
  • Print a page for your own reference or a team meeting

What needs permission

  • Republishing an article or comparison in full
  • Using the text inside a paid course or product
  • Translating a whole page for another site

Common questions

Short answers to the questions readers send most often about the terms and the guide behind them.

Do these terms change when the guide is updated?

No. The terms stay as they are until we revise them, and the revision date at the top of this page tells you which version is current. Adding a new studio comparison or a new explainer page does not change the agreement; only a change to the terms themselves moves the date.

Can I cite this site in a proposal or a report?

Yes, as a reference with a link to the page you used. Cite it as an editorial guide, not as an official standard or a certification, because that is what it is. If your report reproduces a long passage or a whole comparison table, ask first through the contact page.

What happens if a studio disputes its description?

We review the point against public sources and correct anything that no longer holds. Studios can write in the same way readers can. Where a description is accurate but the studio would prefer different wording, we look at the request but keep the original if the wording reflects what the public record shows.

Does reading the guide create any obligation?

None beyond the terms on this page. You can read everything without an account, without a form and without contacting anyone. Writing to us through the contact page does not start a professional relationship, and we do not act for you in any negotiation with a studio.
